Madoff, Mozilla, Cassano, Raines–All The Criminal Men
Criminals like Madoff (he has been formally charged)had lots of help. Not only should the people who aided and abetted Madoff in his crime spree that lasted over twenty years be in prison but so should the likes of Mozilla, Cassano and Raines. We know Madoff had help. We know that the men mentioned above also had help. But they will probably burn in hell before brought to justice.
In other cities around the country where Madoff was not bilking Jews there was crime enough to go around–running amuk in three companies: FannieMae, Countrywide and AIG. All three were run into the ground. Countrywide by a man named Angelo Mozilla . In fact, I read Chain Of Blame and it made my head spin. I was sick at what this man has done to our country with Countrywide.
AIG, at the same time, was being run into the ground by Cassano. They are both living in the lap of luxury instead of living inside a concrete cell. You know that all three walked away with hundreds of millions of dollars.
That takes care of the white guys. What about the third bastard Franklin Raines :
Raines, Federal Regulators Reach Settlement
By David S. Hilzenrath
Former Fannie Mae chairman and chief executive Franklin D. Raines has agreed to a multimillion settlement with a federal regulator over his alleged responsibility for improper accounting at the mortgage finance giant.
The regulator, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, said Raines had agreed to forgo stock, cash and other benefits worth $24.7 million in exchange for dismissing the charges against him. However, the regulator’s estimate wasn’t the only way of looking at the value of the settlement. from the Washington Post blog
Guess who’s living in the lap of luxury in London? Joe “the slime” Cassano:
Peering from the doorway of his £6million London home, this is the financier blamed for taking one of the world’s biggest insurers to the brink of disaster.
Joe Cassano was the president of a subsidiary of AIG that ‘lost’ £5.5billion earlier this year, setting the insurer on a path to bankruptcy.

After the murder of our oldest son and the subsequent financial firestorm that ended in us losing our home to foreclosure,(and this was AFTER, a plan was worked out with C-wide to come current), I spoke with Mr. Mozilo, PERSONALLY, on the phone, at his office…..and the man assured me that although they sold my home illegally, he would personally see to it that we got our home back. Yeah, right! In a pig’s eye. They assigned us a supposed in-house attorney? (somewhere in Santa Monica), who then in turn immediately sent us an unlawful detainer. I immediately filed suit against C-wide and the U/D was rescinded. We asked where to send the pmts and how much until the modification was complete. The attorney told us to hold onto the funds for the initial pmt on the mod, so we did. The mod was introduced in Sep,’08 and was tiered, putting us in a worse situation than we could imagine. Needless to say, we rejected it. Hell, The numbers weren’t even consistent from one page to the next. Anyway, They sought a demurer on the complaint, seven months after it was filed, (isn’t that kind of LATE?), citing non-payment, AFTER they told us to hold the payment until the ink was dry on the modification, and the #@%K&%* judge granted it, without allowing me to speak because although I have been married to my wife for 31 years and the home was purchased with my G.I. bill, and the fact that the title is in her name, I am not a lawyer. Now I have to refile. We are tired. This is the end of our American dream. My question is this….and it is for Mr. Mozilo…….were you just blowing me off when you PROMISED my family we would get our home back, that was taken unethically, and illegally from us? Or were you just passing the buck to the mysterious Dan Whitehead? OR……did you really mean what you said, and this is just some rogue attorney out to put another feather in his cap? My father always told his sons that a MAN’S word is his bond and right now your word is about as good as waterbased mucilage. Mr Mozilo……….WHY?
day one in court
By praetorian5
Okay, so I get off the bus, walk the seven blocks to the court and the doors are locked….hour and a half to go. Find the courtroom, (10), and sit outside waiting for 0830hrs. No calender outside so I’m not sure if this is still a go. 0835, doors are unlocked and the crowd moves as one into the court scrambling for seats. Funny thing, the lawyers on one side, the common people on the other. Me, I sat on the side with the lawyers. Court was called to order and one by one the cases were called until case 17 was called. The opposing counsel’s voice rang from a speaker concealed on the judge’s bench as I approached the plaintiff’s table, placing and opening my briefcase before me. counsel identified himself and the judge in turn asked who I was. Michael Riddick, your honor, standing in for my wife and plaintiff, Arlene Riddick. Are you a lawyer, she asked? No ma’am, my wife is unable to attend because she has anxiety attacks if she comes into a courtroom. She wouldn’t be able to stand here longer than a minute before she would have to bolt from the room. Looking at me as if I were some virus infecting her courtroom, she told me that I had no standing to speak in her courtroom since I was neither the plaintiff, nor was I on the complaint, and I needed to move away from the table and have a seat in the audience. Looking at her, nonplussed, I stated that the fact that I have been married to the plaintiff for the past 30 years, the fact that we purchased the home with my G.I. bill, and the fact that I have paid the mortgage for the past 13 years, shows a vested interest in the property and as such, I should be allowed to speak on her behalf. Again, she looked at me and summarily dismissed what I had said and told me to sit down, I had no authority to speak. She then proceeded to question the opposing counsel about why he filed and served documents with a write in date on them. Counsel could not answer to her satisfaction, stating the person responsible for the actual documentation was not in the office yet. The judge informed him to locate said person and do it by second call. She then proceeded to call the remaining cases. Knowing there were 12 remaining cases, I stepped outside the courtroom to gather my thoughts and call my advisor. Not being able to contact him, I went back into the courtroom to hear the judge exclaim, “Oh there you are. I granted the demurer, but I am going to allow you 20 days to amend your complaint and return to this courtroom.” Looking at her, eyes narrowed to almost closing, I thanked her, and departed the courtroom.
Angelo mozilo….what happened to your WORD? ? ? ? ? ?
