DVD Review: Just Wright

Queen Latifah as Leslie Wright the physical therapist finds love in Just Wright. It was good. It felt like an homage of sorts. Paula Patton the beauty became the beast when she lost her man to Queen. That part was predictable as most of the movie. But it is not too soapy and the acting is good. The story is believable except for the NBA star part. But Paula could pull it off. It is set in New Jersey because of the Nets. It is definitely worth a look.

It was probably a small budget film. But I enjoy seeing black people on film really. So unless it is a Tyler Perry dog I am game for it. Speaking of dog I plan to see For Colored Girls. Hope I don’t fall asleep. Going with low expectations.
