Was Amanpour bored with hosting This Week? Seems so. She wanted more action in the field and it seems that’s where she’s returning and George the Greek be back at This Week. George is an insider who is also master of the political trade. I think it will be a good move. Amanpour did not last a year. I thought it was a dumb idea at the time. They did not think it through enough and now they know.
George Stephanopoulos, Amanpour’s predecessor, will return to host the No. 3-rated Sunday morning politics show. Amanpour, meanwhile, will divide her time as a reporter for ABC and her former employer, CNN. Stephanopoulos will officially return Jan. 8.
“This is an exciting and unique opportunity for me to take my love of storytelling to primetime at ABC News with multiple specials, as well as becoming a roving global affairs anchor across all ABC platforms,” Amanpour, who took over “This Week” in August 2010, wrote in a statement supplied by ABC News.
Although celebrated as a war correspondent and international-affairs reporter, Amanpour was considered an awkward fit on “This Week,” which like rivals “Meet the Press” on NBC and “Face the Nation” on CBS subsists mainly on the weekly rough-and-tumble of American politics. Ratings have dwindled in recent months; when Stephanopolous helmed the program, “This Week” sometimes threatened longtime leader “Meet the Press.”

After the producers of the 84th Academy Awards confirmed that the comedian/actor would host the biggest night in movies Feb. 26, the jokes started flying.
“We’re opening it with (Murphy) singing Party All the Time,” says co-producer Brett Ratner. “I’m kidding.”
But Ratner and co-producer Don Mischer promise that Murphy will provide a memorable and entertaining evening as host.

Beside the fact that Jackie is part Jewish, doesn’t matter now her daddy lied and changed their name, and she hid that fact from the Kennedy family her voice will be heard again. But now tapes she recorded with Arthur Schlesinger were sealed and Jackie asked that they not be released for fifty years after her death. I saw that headline in a tabloid and it’s true: tapes will be released by Caroline Kennedy, really. The tapes allege that LBJ masterminded the assassination of JFK. I know that one man shot JFK, but that does not mean only one man planned it. That would spell conspiracy. So is Caroline talking conspiracy along with Jackie? Don’t know what’s in the tapes we will have to see.
The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him.
She became convinced that the then vice president, along with businessmen in the South, had orchestrated the Dallas shooting, with gunman Lee Harvey Oswald – long claimed to have been a lone assassin – merely part of a much larger conspiracy.

what are the facts of this crime? An adult, a white male, steelworker, father of three kids, killed, confessed to killing three year old Breeann. From the name and the location it sounds like the man is a white male, just guessing from the names of the neighbors also that this neighbor was white, Breeann was Hispanic.
Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen Sokoloff said that in addition to first degree murder, Morgan was charged with armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence.
“Morgan is charged with causing the death of Breeann Rodriguez, 3-years old, also of Senath, by suffocating her,” Sokoloff told ABC affiliate KAIT-TV. “The charge is that he did this on Aug. 6, the day that she went missing.”

here’s the link for the interview and below is my quick blog of the interview as I watched it this morning.
Good Morning America (Nightline tonight ) is starting off the morning with the interview. She sits in a white blouse and pink top and hair is straightened to her shoulders and she is a cafe au lait color. We know that she also gave a print interview with NEWSWEEK. She has a large round face, thirtyish. A nice figure and a convincing witness to the print editor. We know the woman is poor and was making over 45K a year. She also has a 15 YO daughter and fear of losing a good job with Sofitel.
She said “I’m telling you the truth” and she is crying and wiping her eyes. Nightline will have an interview also. But Nafissatou Diallo will give first interview with Robin Roberts today on GMA she wants him to go to jail. Everybody wants to see her photo and know what she’s like. The prosecutors are thinking of not going forward with the case. She said she went into the room and said to him “I’m sorry” and he grabbed her breasts and said “you don’t have to be sorry.” Her nickname is Naffi.
She said “Stop this, stop this but he wouldn’t stop and kept pushing me to the hallway of the suite.” She claims she did not know who he was until someone told her that DSK was supposed to be the next president of France. Her first thoughts was that “they are going to kill me, they are going to kill me,” because he is such a powerful man.

Morning interview with the maid: From FOX
An exclusive televised interview with Nafissatou Diallo, 32, will air on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and on “Nightline” Monday, the same day the maid’s cover-story interview with Newsweek is to hit stands.
Newsweek on Sunday published an online version of its interview with Diallo, in which the maid details how Strauss-Kahn forcibly made her perform oral sex.
“You’re beautiful,” she claimed the French politician told her, as he wrestled her toward the bedroom in the Sofitel suite she came to clean. “I said, ‘Sir, stop this. I don’t want to lose my job.’”
Nafissatou Diallo also gave the newsmagazine and ABC News permission to identify her by name.
The magazine interview marks the first time the 32-year-old Guinean immigrant to the United States has publicly spoken to the media since she shocked the world with allegations that Strauss-Kahn emerged naked from the bathroom of his luxury suite on May 14 and forced her to perform oral sex.
Until now, Reuters had kept to the practice in the United States of protecting the identity of alleged rape victims.

Here's my comment about her life:
I followed this story a bit and when she was found I wrote a blog about how she had been wronged by the law as well as this creep “Jaycee Dugard had a bad case of cops, caseworkers etc.” And I think someone picked up on it, as it was popular, and I understand she has sued the state of California for not following a convicted sex offender like her keeper, more closely. I was one of the first to say that Dr. Murphy was negligent (and lying) in the death of Michael Jackson and his family agreed…and so he has been found negligent in MJs death.
Anyway, I just wrote and asked what karma would Jaycee have that has found her in this life? Karma is the law of cause and effect, the balance of actions we have accumulated in eons of living, including lifetimes as an animal. Dharma is the law, as the buddhist’s call it. The whole spiritual law that includes karma.
As one reply said correctly there is no way to know what lifetime this comes back from. The same people who are advocating peace in this life were great war mongers in another. So, you can’t say you don’t see it. It’s not for you to see. The only person who can see the karma is the person himself and those closest to them such as astral and physical family, sometimes if you live in close proximity some karmic pasts can be seen. And yes, it is intentionally very, very complex and takes decades of meditation and some say vegetarianism to become an insider (this I have done) to unravel the individual strands that lead back to the source.
But this is why people who say they know about those with whom they have never had any contact, i.e., before they are experienced insiders, are just making it up.
