Ashton Kusher sickened by Jobs “apple diet”

As a vegetarian I have also been a fruitarian and a raw foodist and a macrobiotic and a vegan. I also fasted with stuff like garlic and lemons! Not only done everything but read everything about diets and types of diets. I am trying to incorporate more fruit in my diet and vegetables because of my high cholesterol which I have brought down quite a bit.
I know you can’t do the imbalanced nutso thing for very long. Jobs was not balanced but he was a creative genius and they are often unbalanced and don’t see what others see and see what others don’t see.

(CNN) — After learning that Ashton Kutcher had landed in the hospital trying to follow Steve Jobs’ all-fruit diet, CNN reader Sumday had just one question: “All I really wanted to know was why this diet was bad?”
Jobs first fell for extreme diets during his freshman year of college, according to Walter Isaacson‘s biography “Steve Jobs.” Jobs and his college friend Daniel Kottke became vegetarians after reading “Diet for a Small Planet.”
Then Jobs read “Mucusless Diet Healing System” by Arnold Ehret; Ehret believed in eating nothing but fruits and starchless vegetables like spinach, carrots and cucumbers. Jobs began with two-day fruit fasts, eventually going for a week or more. “I got into it in my typical nutso way,” Jobs told Isaacson.
Ehret’s fruitarian diet, also called the Eden Garden Diet or Ehretism, is often used as a type of cleanse, according to LiveStrong.com. Designed to detoxify the system, it can do more long-term harm than good.

“Who is Black?” with Soledad O’Brien
It seems that anybody who can get a few mixed race people together who look white, black and in between and get them to talk on camera then voila you have a show on CNN about what it means to be black in America or just look not black.
Many of the anecdotes rang true especially for my kids, my sister and my cousin and often for myself. Especially people, usually black people, asking you what are you over and over again. This is due in part because in their minds you don’t look black and they are not really ready to accept you as black.
This also happened in a big way to my sister who has a different mother but same biological father. More later

Wow wanna hear about my bad day yesterday? Not only did my wifi/TV router box go on the blink and have to be replaced but went to the doctors and he gave me a script that cost freakin 200 bucks. Since the deductible starts over in the new year one has to start over. So I had to pay 140 dollars for ear drops because my new hearing aide caused an ear infection. This is the second time.
I got to watch the debate once I got to school online but it looked really boring. I think it was more of a draw. Don’t matter I am voting for Romney/Ryan

George Zimmerman’s head bloody and beaten

Zimmerman’s contention all along has been that Martin was bashing his head against the pavement, which is why he was forced to shoot him. The media – especially ABC News — initially attempted to discount that story completely, releasing video of his booking at the Sanford police station that were not well-pixellated, and thus did not show the gashes on the back of his head. It took several days for ABC News to release an enhanced version of the video that showed that there were gashes on Zimmerman’s head. In the meantime, the media had a field day reporting that Zimmerman had shot Martin essentially in cold blood; Martin’s family claimed that Zimmerman was not injured; members of Congress, without any evidence, attempted to pass a resolution labeling the killing a racially-motivated crime.
ABC News reports that the source of the new photo was a witness to the aftermath of the event, and that Zimmerman asked the source to call his wife for him after the shooting.
Well, as I predicted he has a good case and a chance in Florida to go scott free. They were in a big scuffle and somebody screamed.

Two white men arrested for killing 4 blacks in Tulsa

Tulsa, Oklahoma (CNN) — Authorities in Oklahoma arrested two people early Sunday in connection with a deadly spate of apparently random shootings in Tulsa that have had residents on edge.
About 30 representatives from four law enforcement agencies — the Tulsa police, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI — had been working around the clock looking for the person that authorities say killed three people and wounded two others in shooting attacks early Friday.
Mike Wallace dead at 93

CNN) — Mike Wallace, who spent more than four decades as a hard-hitting, provocative news correspondent on “60 Minutes,”has died CBSreported Sunday. He was 93.
He anchored the “CBS Morning News With Mike Wallace” and covered most of the major news stories of the 1960s, including several assignments to Vietnam, according to the “60 Minutes” website.
He was with “60 Minutes” when it debuted on September 24, 1968. In 2006, he became a correspondent emeritus and stopped appearing regularly.
In 2008, Wallace underwent successful triple-bypass heart surgery.
“Mike Wallace is a legend in the news business,” CNN’s Anderson Cooper, a contributor to “60 Minutes,” has said.

Sarah likes Allen West as VP choice and so do I
Here is a picture of Allen West and family. His wife is an MD and they have two beautiful daughters just like Obama. His wife is also professional a doctor and Michelle is a lawyer.
West is the first black elected to congress since 1876! He beat an incumbent for the office. He is 51 years old and has 20 years of military experience. Sarah thinks that West would be a going rouge choice. I think he has made some strange quips in the past but hasn’t everybody? I wanted to look him up to make sure he was not married to a white woman. That would be a deal breaker for me. Not because I have anything against them, some of my best friends are white women, but for what it says about black men taking the easy way out.

Where’s the bombshell? Soledad asks

This video at Breitbart.com is comical and worth a watch for the simple reason that Soledad stays on the case and wants to know: where’s the bombshell in this video…I don’t get it!
Then a white guy comes on to point out that as a white man he agrees with Soledad and points out that there are all white people in the background cheering and smiling Obama the student on.
Where’s the beef? Methinks the mainstream media is making a big deal out of a molehill or is it a mountain out of a molehill? Regardless we knew that Barack and my sister, who looks white, sat in Jeremiah Wright‘s church for a time.
Chicago people are addicted to radical theology and to radical politics. We just roll like that. The women are also addicted to natural hair, or at least they were when I lived there. Including me we sported long beautiful naturals for years before it caught on again.

[Udpated 10:43 a.m.] A student at Chardon High School, Evan Erasmus, told CNN affiliate WEWS-TV that the suspect in Monday’s shootings may have posted a threatening message Sunday night on the social networking service Twitter.
“I think he said that he was going to bring a gun to school and I think that everyone just blew it off like he was joking,” Erasmus said.
