Johnny Lewis brutally murders landlady in Hollywood then falls to his death
Los Angeles (CNN) — The violent deaths of “Sons of Anarchy” actor Johnny Lewis and an elderly woman in an affluent Hollywood neighborhood Wednesday is a murder mystery for Los Angeles police.
Lewis, 28, whose acting resumé included “The O.C.” and “Criminal Minds,” died in the driveway of a three-story home in the Los Feliz neighborhood near Griffith Park, apparently after climbing on the roof and falling, police said Thursday.
Police, responding to a call from neighbors saying they heard screams for help from a woman inside the house, found Katherine Davis, 81, dead in what a police spokesman called a “gruesome scene.”

Sylvester Stallone Son Found dead in LA from drug overdose

Sage Stallone, the 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone, was found dead today at his Los Angeles home, EW has confirmed.
“Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone,” Sylvester’s rep, Michelle Bega, said in a statement. “His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha [Czack]. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever.”

Damn I remember the day that he (gay and Jewish–he was left in a Jewish orphanage during the depression) unveiled his style. Vidal single-handedly changed the way that women cut and wore their hair. He influenced generations since the 1980s with his signature hair cuts and designs on the hair.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Celebrity hairstylist Vidal Sassoon, whose 1960s wash-and-wear cuts freed women from endless teasing and hairspray, has died. He was 84.
Los Angeles police spokesman Kevin Maiberger says officers went to Sassoon’s home Wednesday morning and determined he was dead of natural causes. Sassoon’s family was present.
The London-born Sassoon’s creative, geometric cuts required little styling. They were an integral part of the look of Mary Quant, the superstar British fashion designer who popularized the miniskirt.

Where is Gavin Smith? Hollywood Exec missing
The mystery of what happened to Hollywood executive Gavin Smith began last week, when Smith was staying at a friend’s house and drove off, without a word, in his black Mercedes around 10 p.m. and never came back.
Smith, 57, was reported missing by his wife on Wednesday morning when he failed to pick up his son to take him to school and then did not call into work or his family. Smith’s wife, children, and sister told ABC News that the former UCLA basketball star and 20th Century Fox movie executive would never abandon his family.

Barack Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981, his junior year. Although he left Los Angeles with enough ambitious propulsion to carry him into a more active period, he instead receded into the most existentialist stretch of his life. He was conducting an intense debate with himself over his past, present, and future, an internal struggle that he shared with only a few close friends, including his girlfriends, Alex McNear and Genevieve Cook, who kept a lasting record, one in letters, the other in her journal.

The problem with gays like Rosie O’Donnell

The biggest problem which is not listed here is that Rosie wanted to talk ad nauseum about being gay. Who gives a crap? Not even gays liked her talking about being gay all the damn time. She even outed someone on the stay almost and he had not told anyone he was gay. She is beyond the pale. I would not only not hire here I have never watched her shows. Her broadway show flopped too. Dump Rosie, no, never hire Rosie.

Over the course of the last ten years, the funny, likable Rosie devolved into a boorish, divisive, nasty, partisan big mouth — and who wants to spend an hour a night with a boorish, divisive, nasty, partisan big mouth (who doesn’t believe fire can melt steel)?
By any reasonable standard, Oprah Winfrey could not have found a worse person to prop up her fledgling network. To those of us who have spent a little time outside of Manhattan and Los Angeles, hiring O’Donnell looked the move of a suicidal executive determined to bring down her own network. Why would any sane person choose as their savior the most disliked and unlikable celebrity on a planet where the competition for that title is fierce?
So why does the entertainment media refuse to point out that which is so obvious to the rest of us?

Andrew Breitbart dead at 43
Just heard it on the radio the founder of Big Government and the Andrew Breitbart conservative web site has died at 43 more later.

Andrew Breitbart, the noted Internet publisher and author, has died, according to a source at Big Journalism. He was 43.
A statement posted on his website said that Breitbart died “unexpectedly from natural causes” this morning.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed to ABC News Radio that Breitbart died shortly after midnight at UCLA Medical Center.
The following statement was posted on Breitbart’s website today:
“With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Olivia Spencer wins Oscar
That’s a big deal and a big gal. I could have predicted as much when I blogged my review for The Help.
If you have not seen the movie you can get it from Netflix. It is worth the time. Her character was alive, real and not corny in the least. I don’t know what problem Melissa Harris has with the film but she said the acting was good.
Take it from a reviewer who gets it right most of the time: Spencer gave an Oscar-worthy performance. You can take that to the bank.

The World and the Grammys will mourn the death of Whitney Houston

A special tribute is planned for Houston at the Grammys tonight. It is ironic she died on the eve of the Grammy just shows she was one of the greatest singers ever. I don’t wanna hear nothing about trashy Madonna ever.
We loved you Whitney but you did not love yourself.
