“My Song” by Harry Belafonte
I just read rather listened to the audiobook My Song memoir and life of Harry Belafonte. He knew just about everybody, made a lot of money and was an activist of the highest order.
Like most blacks from the islands and Africa he and Sidney Poitier were color struck and made a point of marrying women with good hair or white women. His children did likewise.
It is a well written tome with a lot of history inside. Read or listen to it if you get a chance.
