That’s me this summer dark skin, shorter curly hair, big nose and all. Well, it looks big in this photo but people have often told me that I have a “perfect” nose. Sorry I am not wearing shorts so you can see my figure better. I feel better and back to a perfect size 8 again. I watch America’s Next Top Model every week. And this week we had a biracial musical beauty on: Alicia Keys. Lots of folks say that part of why she is so famous is because of her looks. She is sporting a new do natural waves and her hair is shorter but not short. It is shoulder length.
My daughter has been growing her hair out too. Above is my daughter at her son’s lemonade stand. It was over 100 that day. It’s hard to see her hair in the photo but it’s the best one I have. She has green eyes.
We use a solution on our hair that leaves it in nice soft curls. The bottom photo of Alicia Keys is certainly not ALL her hair. She has mucho extensions on.

They did not want you to know that Sally had a female partner named Tam for the past 27 years. So it is news to me that she had pancreatic cancer (always fatal), that she was lesbian and that she died today of cancer at age 61. Even in one of the articles I read they talked about Tam and did not call her “she” in the article. Hmm. She earned like four degrees. Are they telling girls that you have to be a “he” in order to achieve in the sciences? No, because there was no mention that she was gay in the news nor mention of the woman who shared her life and bed. They did not marry or adopt or beget any kids.
She was no hero to me. Not because of anything in particular just not on the radar. She may have contracted the cancer from her time spent in space of only thirty minutes. You call that an astronaut?
Anyway I thought that was interesting that Tam O’Shaunnesey and Sally Ride were “partners” i.e., lesbian lovers for the past 27 years. They met when she was 12. This PC stuff is so ridiculous. “Partners” really?

Identity: Your Passport to Success by Stedman Graham at Amazon
Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power by Rachel Maddow (it has good reviews and is #10 on Amazon so if you jest luv you some gay jew then buy her book)
What has this man done other than mooch off a Oprah? I think he’s a business man and had a tough childhood but who the hell cares? I don’t. They never married and there is no wonder. He is arm candy for sure even with gray hair.
He was on Joe and the Jews (Halperin, Allen and Karins the weatherman and Maddow) this morning touting his new book I wouldn’t get out of the library.
It is probably full of platitudes about being yourself. What else is new?

“For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. [Don’t lead with self-congratulation. If you’re aiming for self-pity, that’s also not the way to start an apology. After all, you’re not making the case that your remarks were the result of sleep deprivation or a medical crisis caused by overwork. Underlining that you get paid millions of dollars to sit in front of a microphone 15 hours a week does not create sympathy.] In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. [This wasn’t an errant remark, but a three-day attack. You pretty much ran through a thesaurus’ worth of synonyms to characterize Ms. Fluke, and you make your living choosing words. An apology should not drip with insincerity.] I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke. [This is false on its face, so not a good strategy.]

Yes it is a big deal to wear your own hair. I would love to wear my hair natural and out but because I have students who are not home trained they make fun of teachers who are not like them or white. In the summer I wear my hair natural and down and love it. Way to go Viola. Chicago women wear more natural hair than other climes.

http://www.newsday.com/sports/college/college-football/tcu-football-players-caught-in-drug-sting-1.3531890 Who are the football players at TCU? The names later in the day.
The link for the story at the Star Telegram is broken but marijuana, pills and weapons were found when a bunch of folks from Texas Christian University were arrested today in a huge drug bust that the school said was unprecedented.
The list of the those arrested will be posted later today but I heard it on the radio and it is not really online at this time. Is it because more blacks and browns have been admitted to TCU to people the various teams?
Universities have always have problems with drug selling on campus. Why is this one different? Maybe professors were involved too. No, we found out that it was football players from their stellar team.
I know TCU well because I’ve taken grad courses there and I ride by bike by there all summer because I live nearby. The demographics have changed over the past 10 years I know that much. More later
Depression is the bane of dedicated writers and regular folks too. Can’t promise much production as I should be in intensive therapy for the next few weeks. I am keeping a diary and journal of my struggle and may hope to publish it God willing to help others who have to overcome childhood abuse and neglect. I am delayed onset depression. I can tell you that exercise and food and social withdrawal kept me going. When younger I was a sex addict. But I never used alcohol, street drugs, prescription drugs and never attempted suicide. So therefore I am eligible for outpatient treatment.
Pray for me and I’ll pray for you. This is the worst disease ever. People told me I was crazy, they were right. People told me to lose weight, now I’ve lost 30 pounds in about two months. Not having an appetite seems really really strange to me. I miss being outside. I did a lot of crying and praying. Now I am into relaxation, meds, accupuncture and SLOWING MYSELF WAY DOWN.
I will write when I can. I did not even watch the debates nor care to. You know that’s not like me. I am taking no pleasure in my life or life in general. Just my season to suffer. Yesterday was my birthday too.

I have been using both these supplements ginko biloboa and vinpocetine and Omega-3 (walnuts and flax seed oil) and B vitamins for the past month. And they really work. I have also changed my diet and got rid of things causing inflammation. But I had bad brain fog could hardly think. And as “friends” used to tell me “you crazy.” Well, they were right. I earned by insanity honestly with a boatload of karma I have chosen to pay off in this lifetime.
But if you want to increase blood flow to your brain I highly recommend these two supplements. I need to do a little research on supplements for depression such as St. John’s Wart. That’s not my main problem but a symptom for now. I have another diagnosis actually. Things have greatly improved with prayers and proper diet.
Now I am fascinated by the role of the glia and the microglia in a brain that is damaged or well. I just heard about this other brain within the, well, brain. It does not operate by sending electrical impulses therefore its signal is not picked up by EEG like the normal brain.
I have other reasons for brain research. I have always had a form of photo epilepsy which causes one to fall in the presence of flashing lights like fireworks. I know my brain was damaged in most recent life. And this I must transcend and transform. Not easy to do. But the gods are not exempt from the law like the banksters.
My first field of study was the etheric body which is not only another brain but indeed another body that is subtle and overlays the dense physical one. Meditate on that.
Today I know that the brain’s power comes from miniaturizing and concentrating its components to such an extreme that its working parts are invisible. Like the working parts of a computer miniaturized beyond the resolution of the human eye, the working components of the brain are invisible unless they are magnified hundreds or thousands of times larger by powerful microscopes.
A century ago the newly perfected optical instrument gave scientists their first look at the cellular structure of brain tissue. What these pioneering scientists glimpsed through that window into brain tissue astonished them. Brain cells were unlike those anywhere else in the body. Their observations revolutionized our understanding of the brain and charted the course of neuroscience for the next century.
We seem not to be able to identify the soul or the mind. But I am beginning to think that they are one and the same thing.

Vanity Fair magazine, which announced his death, said there would “never be another like Christopher“.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Blue, and their daughter, Antonia, and his children from a previous marriage, Alexander and Sophia.
Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter described the writer as someone “of ferocious intellect, who was as vibrant on the page as he was at the bar”.
“Those who read him felt they knew him, and those who knew him were profoundly fortunate souls.”
He was British and then became an American citizen he wrote for Vanity Fair magazine and was on his book tour to promote Hitch-22, which is a great read, about his life, when his decline and diagnosis of cancer came about. He was just a young man really.
