Heloise had to sell a couple of shares of Apple because she wanted a taste of SPLUNK which I managed to get at 32.00/share but wanted a few more.  Apple has taken a nose dive as well as Google.  But I am bullish on both. Here’s the report below and the link:

It’s official: Steve Jobs has died. The founder of Apple has died. It’s so ironic that all these years I’ve NEVER bought an Apple product.  Then last year when Jobs launched the iPad I just had to have one.  Something told me it would be a collectible in a sense because I knew he would not live much longer, not with pancreatic cancer.  That’s so fatal dude.  He’s gone but not forgotten.  Thanks for the iPad.

After years of battling pancreatic cancer.

(CNN) — Steve Jobs, the visionary in the black turtleneck who co-founded Apple in a Silicon Valley garage, built it into the world’s leading tech company and led a mobile-computing revolution with wildly popular devices such as the iPhone, died Wednesday. He was 56.

The hard-driving executive pioneered the concept of the personal computer and of navigating them by clicking onscreen images with a mouse. In more recent years, he introduced the iPod portable music player, the iPhone and the iPad tablet — all of which changed how we consume content in the digital age.

Fortune: Ten ways Steve Jobs changed the world

His friends and Apple fans on Wednesday night mourned the passing of a tech titan.

“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives,” Apple said in a statement. “The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”

Steve Jobs Dead at 56: All the money in the world can’t buy perfect health or time

I’ve studied karma and rebirth for decades and what is happening to the founder of Apple is classic.  Everyone gets a mix of karma, good and bad.  And I’ve noticed when someone gets an exceptional amount of wealth or fame it is usually  tempered with bad luck, bad health or early death.  I mean Steve Jobs  is young still in his mid fifties and he has had a liver transplant and no one knew.  Jobs is not rich but super rich he owns a large part of Pixar because he invented the animation that they and everyone uses.  Most of his money comes from that invention.  Then there is the Apple that he created and the stock is still soaring there.  What’s more he was adopted just found that out too.  Even though he is ethnically Semitic or Jewish  (his father was Arab and his mother Jewish) I am sure he is probably an atheist too. Or maybe he WAS.  But according to Wiki he went to India and returned donning orange robes and a shaved head.  His biological parentage from WIKI:

Abdulfattah John Jandali, a SyrianMuslim immigrant to the U.S ,[24][25] who later became a political science professor,[26] and Joanne Schieble (later Simpson), an American graduate student[27] of German ancestry[28] who went on to become a speech language pathologist[29] – eventually married.

But he has a rare form of pancreatic cancer and had the liver transplant and we were not told.  He might even be on countdown for life.  We will never know until…it’s over and today was his last day on earth RIP JOBS.  I bought my first Apple product just last year…tears..

Watch Parliament Grill, Roast and Serve Up Rupert Murdoch today on MSNBC, CNN and online

I am watching it now and they are on the ropes and not very good liars either one of them are claiming total amnesia or it was a low level function and not a job for the head of the empire.

Also watch lawmakers question leading members of the Metropolitan Police including former chief Paul Stephenson from 11 a.m. GMT / 7 a.m. ET Tuesday.

London (CNN) — The head of London’s Metropolitan Police appeared before Parliament Tuesday to testify in the widening phone-hacking scandal that has shaken the foundations of the country’s press, police and political establishments.

Paul Stephenson began his testimony by saying he had resigned out of concern that his continued presence at the helm of the department would be a distraction. He also said no one had asked him to resign,

Will Rupert resign at the end of the day? I predict he will.

Will T mobile go iPhone?

Spent the weekend looking over my ATT bill and wanting to go the iPhone route after the blackberry lane tripped me up with the bad phone connects.

So, I called ATT and found out that I was paying for an upgrade to my internet speed that I did not want nor need. I had called before and wanted to know why my bill had gone up so much. That was back in June or July. Then I forgot and then looked at my bill. Okay, why am I paying 50 bucks for Internet?

I called ATT and they told me that the freebe expired back in May, and now I was paying the extra fee. They get you coming and going with the fees. So, I switched back to the basic speed and sense no diff.

The word is that T mobile might get the iPhone and I was hoping they do because I have two more years to go on my contract. I would have to just buy an iPhone outright that is unlocked and heard not good things about the unlocked phone.

Or wait two years or see if Tmobile gets the contract. The problem with the blackberry service was that the phone part of it sucked! It dropped calls and just did wierd things like flameouts that I got just sick of. I went down there an got a basic phone and an iPad, but no iPhone. The reg phone works just fine.

Oh, and I did not solve why my TV went Spanish on me but there is actually a Spanish package that costs ten dollars more. And every call you make to cust serv still asks you to choose span or eng which I still hate.

I will wait until the spring regardless and see what moves in the iPhone world.

Eyeing new iPhone?

expecting the electronics maker to unveil new or cheaper versions of its popular iPhone. A newer and cheaper iPhone? I’ll bite.
