Obama debated like the election was over and he lost

Wow what a loser.  I did not see an incumbent president onstage last night but a disinterested-can’t- wait-till-this-is-over guy. Obama this was not a night of bad sex but a presidential debate dude.  What a bastard for his party dogs.

Where was the power of the presidency in his presence and his debate? I don’t know but I don’t think Jack would have left home without himself on an important debate for the next four years.

Mitt Romney was the clear winner and President Obama croaked like a bad swan song. Mitt won and looked good doing it.

Looks like we have a rominee named Money.  LOL.  I was going to vote for Santorum if it came to Texas but I don’t know.  If there is an open primary in Texas it would be bad luck for Obama if I were to vote for one of these guys. Why because that person would win the election in 2012.  My vote has not missed yet.

Romney keeps invoking his wife Anne Romney.  Who  the heck is she? They say she is his secret weapon but don’t know.  My question is when will the other guys get out of the race.

Santorum stumped in debate

Rick was double teamed by that sneaky, lying Ron Paul and Swiss Mitt in the debate last night. I know that Sant Rick is an oreo: Repub on the outside and Dem on the inside.  But I think he makes more sense than the others.  I can’t stand that Ron Paul and fast forwarded him….What a lying hypocrite he is.  If I were voting for a GOP contender (my word for them) I would vote for Rick. But too bad Obama beats them by a mile.

You can read through over 50 scans of the newsletters that Ron Paul claimed he NEVER saw and NEVER wrote.  Oh well, we have a bridge over a swamp to sell if you buy those lies. Why can’t the REPUBS get their political act together ?

Mitt Routs Newt in Florida

Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts,...

Recall that this man Mitt has been running for president for like 8 years. Has only won ONE election in a state he was not born in! Where is this man from? He was born in Mexico but ain’t Mexican and thought his family was from Utah but he ends up in Boston, Mass running for senate (defeated) and Gov one term and now president.  Will the GOP give it to him out of pity?

At this writing Mitt has a 20 point lead over Newt but they have not called the election for him yet.

Mitt Romney has spent 15 million to defeat Newt Gingrich in Florida because it is a winner take all primary.  That’s too bad that anyone has to spend that kind of money and those types of negative ads to drop the other contender.

Florida is not the end. It seems so because of all  the delegates. If Newt does not have the money then how can he go on.  Only in America would you get a Mitt v Newt strange first names.

The Romney Runaway Race

Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary with more than ten points. Congrats to you. I’ve made more than one prediction about Mitt.  In one I said why Mitt will run three times.  Partly because I predicted he would win the nomination at least 3 months ago.  Then I didn’t want him to win.

I have endorsed Obama for a second term.  Romney and his family is just too much like a dynasty in the making.  And yes I do have reservations about the Mormon invasion.  I really do.  And not against the religion so much but what precedent this sets for our country.  I think Perry and Newt are finished and so is Hunstman and Bachman badly beaten by the guy pack leaving Santorum and Paul.  It will be down to these three soon enough.  Perry was his own worse enemy.  I think he should have never gotten into the race.  He was listening to the media and he believed the hype about his chances against Mitt in the anybody but Mitt heyday.  Well that day has come and gone and Mitt is gaining momentum.

Can the also-rans knock Mitt off his perch I doubt it.  The rich will run this country once again.

I predict a three-way tie

, U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.

Saint Rumi 🙂

The reporting precincts this far have a 3-way tie.  It may not hold and somebody will be declared a winner. I can’t help but predict a three-way tie that is statistically tied, meaning within one or two points.

I am not surprised that Saint Rumi or Rick Santorum has surged in the polls.  In a way he the Obama conservative for the GOP.  I mean except for losing many of his races he is about as inexperienced as Obama was when he ran for office.

Santorum may not be a winner and if he’s not a winner at heart then that’s a problem.  He can come out of his losing doldrums by winning or placing second in the next three contests.  Of course it’s winner take all in South Carolina.

If Rick Perry weren’t so, Texan, he would be surging in the polls too.  Perry surged before he even opened his mouth.  Just by getting in the race because the GOPers were so anxious for the “not-Romney” candidate they latched onto Perry.  Now that he has opened his mouth the crowds have gone away.

Top tier: Mitt Romney; Rick Santorum; Ron Paul is what it looks like now.  Who will pull ahead of the pack of contenders (my word) ? Who knows?

Who won GOP debate: Newt does it—again

No one was able to knock Newt off his rhetorical perch.  He sits there firmly and did what he had to do.  He parrys and he punches back when he was confronted with the 1.6 million dollars he has earned from Fannie Mae and Freddie.   He made the right point that Dodd and Frank were sitting in the House, as elected officials when they cleaned the housing clock and set the meltdown timer on its ultimate date with a 2008 destiny.

I think Ron Paul came in as a close second with his answers.  Everyone was careful but not safe playing.  The answers to questions that ranged from foreign policy to illegal alien verification were well-thought, and no major stumbles like the 10K bet.

At one point Paul even invoked what JFK did with Cuba and Paul said he was in the service at that time and he praised Kennedy’s actions because he avoided war with Russia and Cuba.

But really even Santorum and Perry did themselves a lot of good before the Iowa voting in January.  What about Romney who leads hot on the heels of Newt?  He was steady eddy and also provided a good debate.

Bachman she just does not do anything for me.  She was not bad and I don’t pan her performance but as a congress person she is just out of her league. I don’t think she’s a Sarah Palin.  I think Palin in many ways is stronger and more magnetic. Anyway,  has a person from congress ever won the presidency? I don’t think so.

Anyway Newt won the night–again.

The Trough: Endorses Barack Obama for President

Obama-Biden--again

Yes, I just decided to break early for the incumbent. I know that’s funny but Heloise get’s a lot of traction and readers and hell what I am seeing out there in the GOP field only makes me laugh I mean LOL.  So, despite some of Obama’s decisions, the economy and my own misgivings about his ability to grow jobs; his near-eclipse of black people on his radar;  his railroading the Obamacare through Congress, which I might end up benefitting from–it’s Barack Obama for president.

I think we need to change the constitution so that it’s a 5-year term one time and maybe that will take some of the dirty money out of politics.

I think seriously that Newt Gingrich will get the nod as I said before mostly because he will prove to be the most-least-conservative and objectionable.  I mean if they gave it to Maverick Cain they will give the nomination to ANYBODY!

Will Herman Cain erupt over lurid details?

That what I wonder now.  I mean Cain has been run through the political and the media grist mill for his allegations of sexual harrassment.  But he won’t be able to live down this new one. I mean this woman, Sharon Bialek, got up at the mike got herself a lawyer Gloria Allred and then the shit hit the fan.  This is total damage control mode for Cain.  I don’t see him getting past this one.

See my other post for more details.  I’ve recorded her session and will provide more details later.
